MEN’S BURGER NIGHT
August 11, Brygge’s - Detroit Lakes
6:30 pm, carpool from church @ 6:00pm
This summer, we are bringing guys together around the table and having a burger! No need to sign up, just show up and enjoy a burger!

Fall Life Groups
Coming This September
Life is better when we do it together — and growing in our relationship with God gets even more powerful when we share the journey with others. This fall we’re launching a fresh session of Life Groups: a lively, welcoming place to dive into the Bible, hear one another’s insights, and put what we learn into practice. Join a group to deepen your faith faster, build meaningful friendships, and experience faith in action. Don’t miss this chance to grow, laugh, and live out God’s word with others.
WOMEN’S THRIVE CONFERENCE
October 9 - 11, Rochester, MN
Ladies, you won't want to miss our fall retreat to the Thrive Women's Conference on October 9-11, 2026, in Rochester, MN! Our NLC Thrive Women's Weekend continues after the conference with a stay in town on Saturday night to have dinner together and debrief the Conference. Then we'll go to church at Rochester Assembly, grab lunch, and head home!
The registration price includes your admission and a shared Vrbo with others in our group. And you, also, have the option to add on a transportation ticket to ride the van from Northwoods Life! Feel free to invite a friend and be ready for a refreshing and encouraging retreat! We will leave church Friday at 7:30 am and return Sunday around 5:30 pm.
Annual Church Picnic
August 16, After Sunday Service @ Northwoods Life Church
Our annual Church picnic is on the horizon and we are moving it under the tent in the lot next to the church! We’ve outgrown the shelter in the park, so we are going to make it as easy as possible for people to come and attend this fun morning and luncheon!
Items on the grill and beverages will be provided, just bring a side or a dessert to pass. We’ll have a tent set up on the side of the building so that after service, we’ll all head outside and enjoy the end of summer!
