The Bait of Satan

The Bait of Satan exposes one of the most deceptive snares Satan uses to get believers out of the will of God--offense. This trap restrains countless Christians, severs relationships, and widens the gulfs between us. Jesus said, "It is impossible that no offenses should come” (Luke 17:1). Although you will encounter offense, you can choose how you will react. Left unaddressed, these wounds from past wrongs will wreak havoc in our lives, stealing our vitality and thwarting our purpose.
During our fall session you will receive teachings and practical tools that will empower you to overcome offense, thrive in your relationships, and run toward your purpose.

Whether you're single, married, widowed, or have a difficult time with relational intimacy in general, this study will help gently dismantle the self-protective walls around our hearts and create pathways into a much deeper, much richer relationship with the One who loves us more than we can possibly imagine. YOU are the object of God's affection!

WOMEN’S THRIVE CONFERENCE
October 9 - 11, Rochester, MN
Ladies, you won't want to miss our fall retreat to the Thrive Women's Conference on October 9-11, 2026, in Rochester, MN! Our NLC Thrive Women's Weekend continues after the conference with a stay in town on Saturday night to have dinner together and debrief the Conference. Then we'll go to church at Rochester Assembly, grab lunch, and head home!
The registration price includes your admission and a shared Vrbo with others in our group. And you, also, have the option to add on a transportation ticket to ride the van from Northwoods Life! Feel free to invite a friend and be ready for a refreshing and encouraging retreat! We will leave church Friday at 7:30 am and return Sunday around 5:30 pm.
Operation Christmas Child
Happening This October & November
Every fall and holiday season, we pack shoeboxes with toys, toiletries and other items to be sent around the world in order to share the name of Jesus during Christmas. Operation Christmas Child is one of our major Kingdom Generosity Project partners. Our goal is to send over 100 boxes this year from our church! Grab a box and return it by November 15th so that it can make it into a child’s hands by Christmas!
Men’s “Lead the Way” Conference
November 21 @ The Waters Church in Sartell, MN
Men, we want to see you invest in your faith with other men from across the state of Minnesota! We will leave early on Saturday morning to attend this conference featuring evangelist Micah Mac, several breakouts, and then we always grab a meal on the way home to talk about what the Lord did in our life that day.
